About Us
Guide Indian Village Empowerment Foundation (GIVE) is a charitable organization that works towards rural transformation, by empowering communities. Currently we are working in various parts of Telangana.
GIVE Telangana, is the Telangana chapter of the organization.
Our goal is to contribute to rural transformation by making program participation accessible to everyone, across India; from leaders who are already making an impact, to people who are interested in becoming more involved. We’ll equip and enable innovators, young leaders, and everyday citizens with the skills and tools they need to create change in rural India.
We are just getting started. Learn about our first set of projects, join us and become part of this exciting journey as we set out to transform rural India.
The 100% Fund Utilization Model
At GIVE we believe “Lets Give Back ™”, begins with us. Hence we made a promise: 100% of public and corporate donations would go directly to fund projects.
From the beginning, we’ve relied on a small group of generous private donors(Trustees, Friends and Family) to fund our operating expenses.
We Believe
ALL INDIANS SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTHCARE AND EDUCATION
The path out of poverty begins when the next generation of Indians can access quality healthcare & education. We seek to ensure that all young Indians, especially the children in rural India can access the opportunities they need to succeed in school and life.
SAVING LIVES BY DELIVERING THE LATEST IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY TO RURAL INDIA
We work with partners and invest in healthcare infrastructure in rural India. We also conduct medical camps, screen for various diseases, illness, provide effective vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics to those with the greatest needs
RURAL DEVELOPMENT IS KEY TO THE ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION TO THE NATION
We work on various skill development initiatives and awareness programs to help the rural population improve their resources, skillset and knowledge about technology and encourages implementation into their lives
What We Do
We focus on areas which are key for sustainable rural development and work on initiatives promoting the Education, Healthcare, Skill Development & Village Development.
Education
Our goal is to not only train children with academic curriculum, but also provide a healthy, safe, well equipped, clean, and inviting environment that helps in their overall development.
INFRASTRUCTURE - BASIC AMENITIES ARE ACCESSIBLE
We believe all students across India should have access to basic amenities in schools.
We work, to provide every student has access to – class rooms with proper amenities, working toilets & clean drinking water. We believe maintaining the infrastructure is as important as providing it .
ENABLE INNOVATION
We believe, to create wealth and reduce poverty in rural India we need rural innovations and entrepreneurs. We like to start young and early and ensure each student has :
- Access to digital infrastructure & programs
- Exposure to innovative programs to help stimulate their creativity (tinkering labs, robotics)
- Working with partners conduct STEM related programs, and make learning science and mathematics fun and enjoyable
TEACHER TRAINING
Our goal is to empower more teachers to create learning environments that meet the unique needs, interests and learning preferences of each child. To that end we :
- Educate and train teachers and help them build a positive environment for students and staff
- Working with partners, equip teachers with innovative teaching strategies
- Leverage data, design & create scorecards to help teachers assess students performance
HEALTHCARE
We believe in adopting latest technology in rural areas to improve the health quality of the population & contribute to the well-being of the society
MEDICAL SUPPORT & AWARENESS
GIVE Telangana’s healthcare initiatives are envisioned to improve the healthcare infrastructure in the rural areas and enable equal access to medication, as available in urban areas. We conduct campaigns and initiatives to make the healthcare more efficient and educate the rural population on the need to use technology which will help them improve theirs and the society’s well being.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Rural skill development for the under-privileged is very essential for the development of the overall community for which we conduct various social promotion activities
EMPOWERMENT CAMPAIGNS
GIVE Telangana conducts various activities geared towards skill development in rural areas to enable the population to have access to employment. We believe that providing employment to the total population is vital for their economic well being and boost the contribution from villages to the state.
VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT
Villages are vital to contribute to the economy of the country, and we support our rural population by working with villagers to help improve their resources, skills and help them adopt technology into their lives
AWARENESS PROGRAMS
Give conducts awareness around common issues such as Sanitation, Agriculture, Waste-Management, Water Management, Power-saving techniques etc. and help the villages adopt available resources to address existing issues by leveraging the power of technology. Some of our goals are to promote smart classrooms in village schools, allowing them to expand their horizon using digital tools and to provide internet to the rural area in India, which will allow farmers to check market rate for their daily produce
